Many networks are a dynamic mix of "legacy" equipment and new gear. As such, specialty cables are a fact of life.

Many suppliers avoid these "custom" products. There's a fair amount of research involved and the quantities are usually small.

Fiber Recycling

Doesn't it seem like every year network hardware requires a new fiber interface? So what do you do with those pricey assemblies you can't use anymore?
